Tailoring

We offer a three-month training program in fashion and design. It includes tailoring and design and is aimed at equipping the women with marketable skills that they can use to support themselves and their families.

Every Monday and Wednesday, we conduct two training session, each of two hours duration. The essential materials and equipment for the tailoring trainees are a tape measure, chalk for sewing, hand needles, thread, and a piece of fabric. The organization supplies the beads needed for beading. Please bring your own crochet and knitting needles if you are interested in learning to crochet or knit.

The entire program takes three months, after which the ladies have the fundamental skills needed to support themselves and their families.
